 Contracts: A letter of intent to play for MCVBC must be signed and returned (mail or email) no later than the  posted date for your age tryouts as posted on our website and OVR's website.

 If a player declines any clubs contract offer, please inform that club that you decline their offer so that an alternate may be contacted as soon as possible. 

Alternates will be notified as soon as an opening becomes available.

 Fees for 2012 season.

    Regional 10-11yr olds    -   $500

    Regional 12-14 yr olds   -   $675 

    Regional 15-17 yr old     -   $750 

    American Teams            -   $850

 

* if you have a MCVBC practice ball, deduct $15.00

* if you have an MCVBC warm-up from last year, deduct $40.00

 

Your club fees pay for:

 

·          USAV membership and insurance.

·          Tournament entry fees

5 tournaments plus regionals - 10s and 11s

6 tournaments plus regionals  - 12-17s

·         Uniforms– (12s and up) one uniform top and short.

             13s and up- t-shirt with name,

             15s-17s fees include warm-up jacket and pants (also American team members).

·          Equipment—Molten volleyball to keep (13s-17s).

·          practice time– 2 times a week if not playing in  tournament that weekend.

         Last season, the regional teams had at least  50 hours of practice for the season.

·         American teams will usually practice twice per week and once on weekend.

.        Last season the American teams had at least 80 hours of practice.

·         coaches salary and administrative costs.

 

Season starts in January and ends the last week of April, with Regional tournaments being held the first 3 weekends in May.

 

The fees can be paid at one time or in three installments due at the following time:

   

    Nov 27th  - 1st Payment due  $275  (at parents meeting)

    Jan 15th  - 2nd Payment Due  $270 (2 separate checks of $120 and $150)

    Feb 19  - Final Payment—Remainder of Balance

 

Final Payment must be made prior to playing in any tournaments.

 

MCVBC runs two fundraiser that helps to defray your fees. Participation in the fundraiser is optional. (see Fundraiser page- coming soon)

 

After the parents meeting, all fees MUST be mailed to:

Coaches have been instructed not accept any check directly from parents or players.  

An athlete with a delinquent account may be denied the privilege of playing in tournaments and may have limited practice participation until the account is paid in full.  A player may not participate in any activities if there is a balance due after Feb. 17th.

All Sunday practices start no earlier than

 1:00 PM, and weekday practices start no earlier that 6:00 PM.
